OK, I have a small update: RIP RGB. At least, made simply as I had originally planned, that one is dead. It bench tested great, but didn't do so great in the real world. That being said, I did build a RBW (Red, Blue [a lighter blue, closer to the OEM Blue] and White) That is field selectable by the end user. So you have two functions, I will call PARK and DOME. PARK having the lights come on only when the parking lights are on. That one is dimmable, using the same module @kmorgan3 built his with. DOME then having the lights come on at full brightness any time the door is opened. So when I say field selectable, you can choose between RED, LIGHT BLUE and WHITE for PARK or DOME. So, if you want white when the door is opened, but light blue when the parking lights are on, or want red when the door is opened, and light blue when the parking lights are on, Or want red when the door is opened, but white when the parking lights are on... you get the idea without me listing all six possible combinations. So this one is getting sent to @kmorgan3 to dissect (I will try to grab a video or something tomorrow night before I ship it off) and see what he can do with it. I should also note that this one uses the cargo switch and a fuse tap, no A-Pillar tap. I will still build a version that uses those and I like the DOME function to fade on and off, but that will be a little later. Using the cargo switch opens it up to everyone (I think? IIRC, even trucks without cargo lights still have the plug for them?), so it seemed like a good place to start. Not sure if it will ever see an actual production version, but I did try making it as builder friendly as I could while still building something that was well constructed. That being said, there is only so much one can do to make "nice" LED strip lights. They just don't make a premium version of those lights. But, knowing that, I did make them easily swapped and expandable for the double cabs out there.

Ok, here are a few shots:
    This is full brightness white.
    2BD0FF7D-575E-4E40-9FB1-560EAE7F5AD5.jpg
And then red at about 25%? It looks brighter here than it was in person.

    Then blue at full brightness

and finally blue dimmed to 10%

We have a few different builds going on at the moment and are just finalizing/agreeing on the specific components (part numbers) to put into the final design file. We want to make it sleek but also don't want to rob your bank account. Shouldn't take us much longer to get some quotes floating around.

I think we are all decided that the first version will be centered on the VLED strips where you will buy your preferred color of LED from @memario1214 or whichever retailer is selling our footwell light harness -- the retailers that are interested are all VLED distributors. If you change your mind on the color you can just swap them out by unplugging them and sticking new ones in.

Thanks to everyone for your interest!

Is there an option to only have these on when a door is open or when the dome is on? Worried I won't be able to turn the ambient light low enough. Also, I have a plug and play harness installed that piggy backs onto the cargo/bedlight switch. Would that be an issue?

You can snip a wire if need be and then you’ll get only one of the functions. You can crimp-on a connector of your choice to reconnect that wire if you choose.

There shouldn’t be issues plugging two into each other, although you are making a long noodle of harnesses at that point. Is it one of my illumination harnesses? If so I can make a one-off. Or introduce a variation on the harness to include the small 2-pin as to not interrupt my other products.
