    We are working on it
Yes everything is plug and play. No splicing.

Currently still trying to work out the logistics for the lights before production starts. A rough estimate for a set of 2 lights is about $105-115. That is all-in with the harnesses, adhesives, lights, mini screw driver to adjust the brightness in the ambient mode, etc. Again that’s rough right now. It may go up depending on logistics. An extra 2 would add $40 (standard price of the 2 VLEDS strip lights). We think very few people will want to go the 4 light route. The lights would be adhered to cloth or fake leather under the front seat. You could do it, but the lighting looks weird back there plus it’s easily occluded if the people in the front seats recline at all.

Couldn't you attach the light strip to the seat framework?

You can stick them however you think is best for your truck. However, for the people that have seat covers, there isn't any exposed seat frame. The only thing that I personally would be able to attach them to is fake leather. The nearest exposed frame is literally under the seat; so my ass would be glowing. With that said, the kit supports 4 lights, but standard will be 2. You will have the option to add 2 (for a total of 4) with the right extension lengths, more adhesive, etc.

I really like this project and wanted to throw my 2 cents in for those that might want ambient light in the rear. At the base of the rear console panel there is a vent like cutout. Someone could attach a small LED strip at the base of the backside of that panel so that the rear footwells would have a some light.

This is an excellent idea! Since most of VLEDS interior lights use the same connector you can run wild so long as you stay within the amp budget. You can order some of their pod lights, strip lights, etc. and they sell extensions to different lengths and whatnot. Everything should plug right into the harness and then the lights can be chained to each other thanks to their through-put design. Shouldn't be an issue to make the interior of the truck look like a Christmas tree.

I only would get the 2 for front. Don’t need rear floor lighting. Thanks for the update. Just let me know.

I’m intrigued. I have the “Menards” lights down there now. Did not know vled makes them. I’d like the set of four lights and figure out the rear lighting.

    Lotsa PIAA lights.
Hell yeah, I love lots of interior light . I had a 86 xtra cab with 4 dome lamps from a Pontiac Grand-Am and 8 foot well lights from an Astro van when you opened the door at night you needed a welders helmet to get in the truck . download.jpg

Absolute truth! Lights have definitely been the bulk of the mods I’ve done so far. And you get what you pay for
