Why not get 2 sets of light bars and a switch to select which color you want?

Twice the price, voiding the warranty, possibly taking up twice as much space and looking jenky.

I’ll try to get an update tomorrow. I finalized a prototype harness for the 4th Gen over a month ago and it’s been on hold as I think they’re making changes to other parts of the kit. So we’ll see if a dual color option is part of that list.

Got the lights on I stalled them and the output is great. Only thing is that like others mentioned is that they flicker when starting the truck and mine don’t seem to dim with my lights on. Anyone else have these issues. I have a 17 OR if that makes a difference.

Almost all LEDs (unless they’re constant current) will flicker when starting the truck. As has been mentioned, LEDs are voltage sensitive. Cranking the truck or anything that causes a large voltage fluctuation will dim or brighten an LED so long as the voltage isn’t stable. The LED bulbs in my dining room chandelier dim when I run the washer or dryer — same concept.

As for failing to dim when you turn on your headlights — check to make sure your inputs aren’t swapped and then verify the dimmer adjustment on the PWM is turned down.

Check and see if they stay on when your truck is off. If I remember right, and I’m not sure they’ve not been updated, but you can plug them in wrong and they’ll stay on all the time. This caused them not to dim when my lights were on. Just a constant brightness.

It was my dimmer adjustment. Turned it all the way down and they dim with lights on. Thanks for the quick response!

Will these work on a 3rd gen SR that has had the lighted visor swap performed? Not sure if there is enough room for another wiring harness above the roof console, so figured I'd check.

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to @kmorgan3 and @memario1214 for a great product and @caribe makaira for his knowledge and tech support with the install.

I’ve had these one the truck for a while now but wifey wanted them on the RAV. Unfortunately there’s no PnP kit for the RAV yet but for anybody wondering… I got the universal kit from VLED and while it took some tinkering, it works just like the kit for the Tacoma.

I love this kit! I installed and am very pleased. I ordered an extension cable and an extra LED bar to add lighting to the glove box.

Hey @Bubble Wrap, can you give me some insight as to how you routed the wiring to the rear seating area and the mounting of the lights in the rear seating area?

I routed the lights from the passenger footwell behind the kick panel along the door sill to the back. Simple pull up the panel and route the cable along the existing ones in that channel. In the back, I used Velcro tape for the lights to adhere them to the carpet under the rear bench. I can snap some pictures tomorrow if that helps.

Here you go. I hope this helps. Like I said, it’s pretty straightforward. Just pull up the panels and route the cable along the OEM harness. Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll try to help/snap some more pictures.

Also… Please disregard the sand. It’s our beach mobile.

intersting... I mounted my rear footwells under the driver and passenger seats pointing towards the rear seats, but I like this idea.
