This should tie you over. You can rub your nips whilst watching one get destroyed over and over. Call it therapy.

Very cool. Probably the only reason I could rationalize selling my 2004 and buying a new truck.

Pretty damn impressive. Wonder what the reasoning is for the side-curtains to deploy in a straight-on impact. Would be nice to have an interior view of the knee airbags.

The underside view was pretty cool. Always wondered how the forward momentum of the engine/tranny is balanced/over come by the rearward deflection of the impact itself. I'd be interested to see what they really look like in detail.

Who's gonna be the first to make the 'that'll buff right out' comment...?

Man the truck did a good job of protecting the occupants. No real intrusions into the passenger cabin......nice to know that long snout is good for something.

But truthfully speaking. I really want to see the quarter panel driver side impact test that the IIHS conducts. They released the test on the full size pickups not so long ago. Ford did the best out of all. And dodge did the worst.

If I didn't own one and I just came here to read I would've expected it to fall apart or run out of gas before it made it to the wall.

How I imagine those who hate the 3rd gen

I've owned all 3 gens and a few of the original pick-ups... Where is all this hate coming from? Is it that it has a beefed up Prius engine? That it has crawl control, which does more than %90 of their recovery equipment? Or is it that they no longer have the new shiny one? Or is it that the forums are now filled with cousin-fucking mouth-breathers who think a full size pick'em up truck and some Luke Bryan CD's mean something around here? I just don't get it. One last thing... If any of the people hating on this truck do or have worn skinny jeans intentionally... Your opinions are invalid and should use said jeans to kill yourself... Keyboard warrior out!

They didn't even try to start it. And there's no fuel in it. So not to worry about exposure to trans shifting and such.

As a side note for all you happy-this-truck-is-so-safe-thats-why-I-need-one types............. be sure you don't lift or level it. That will change the dynamics of all the bag bomb deployments.

This man gets it! You sir, have (somewhat) restored my faith in humanity and I feel a little less alone in this world. We may have a chance...
