    That is an old video that we have all commented on already... where have you been? Thanks for thinking about me... How about a Foster's mate?

    1) It is an ARB corporate sponsored video on Australian models. The ARB Prado has the heavy front bumper/ roo bar that helps with traction... the other two did not.

    2) They don't drive the different vehicles the same... he doesn't put his foot into it to get the 'limited slip' to work best (on purpose naturally). I didn't see the ARB Prado get its tire a foot off the ground, like the others??? The sand hill climb was nearly the same... none topped the dune.

    3) I don't know if it is even our version of A-TRAC being used... could be TRAC?

    4) You have a 2005 Tacoma... so please stop pretending you can even know how close A-TRAC is to how lockers work... you would be surprised. I was being an '05 driver before. Have an open mind... I like lockers, why don't you like A-TRAC?

    5) Yes, lockers are smoother and quieter... and work the best if you don't need to steer. Ultimate 4 wheel drive, no doubt. But even this video tells you steering is hampered by lockers.

    6) A-TRAC is superior to lockers WHEN you need both steering and 4 wheel traction control at the same time... A-TRAC is automatic and on standby when needed... Lockers require constant turning on and off so you can turn your truck on tight trails. I witnessesd this myself with 3 other front locker equipped vehicles wheeling with me.

    7) A-TRAC is from Toyota, factory installed, and no additional cost on Off Road 4WDs. These models also have a rear locker... 9 drive modes to choose from. Why don't you think that is a good thing?

    I can feel resistance when turning, but nothing worth a second thought. Im sure it would be a bitch on the street, but then.....WHY would it be locked on the street.
