Rust free, 100% SoCal LC. This is owned by my father (now an older gent) who is not in a hurry to sell - but he simply does not plan to use any longer and is ready to downsize to 1 vehicle (they also have a Camry).
Pictures show 136k miles. I think it may be closer to the 137k range by the time it sells.

2001 Land Cruiser - 100% Stock. No modifications.
Exterior Paint color: Silver (“Champagne Pearl”? or maybe “Thundercloud”?) with Gray interior

    Clean Exterior, interior & undercarriage
$25,000 or best offer. The LC is located in San Diego

Car has been going up and down the California Coast over the last few weeks. It was my parents “last adventure” on the Land Cruiser. They did a couple week's-long trip and they are now ready to sell. They are older now and are ready to slow down and downsize... – They are selling their home, many of their things, selling the LC and going down to 1 car, etc.).

The LC is in I’ll be happy to coordinate a convenient time to meet.

My Father is the second owner and is responsible for the great majority of the miles on it. Clean title - no accidents.
Very well taken care of and well maintained. Oil has been changed - a bit too often - if anything! My dad believed in 3000 mi intervals! It has seen light use. Mostly on my parents road trips.

(- On trips in Europe, (more than one time) he actually did take the car in for an oil change – and these were rental cars! )

Recent Michelin LTX MS2 tires. They are maybe a year old? Maybe 4-5 thousand miles?
Full Brake job Front & rear done recently.

Everything works - nothing is broken.

It has a brand new master key reprogrammed by the dealer as the old master was lost a while back. There is a second key (both are fully functional) and they also have the valet key.

I used it for a couple of weeks last year's winter while up in Tahoe and it continues to prove highly reliable. It starts right away and runs very smoothly. No rattles. My now old parents still trust it highly. It has never had any issues.

PM me if interested - this is posted elsewhere as well. - Thank you!

    Is that beauty a 4WD model? V8?

That is a very tempting buy!

Btw...I see you're listed on "Central Coast". What area? Understand the ride is in Sandy Eggo.

    AWD / 4wd + Lockers
    V8 - Yes

@GrizzledBastard - I am in San Luis Obispo - Where are you?

    - the LC is in San Diego and available for viewing. I am assisting from afar until I get it up here... (unless it sells before!).

I would love to keep it - I just do not have the room!

Gawd....that's like Cream Puff status. It's expensive but I think worth it they are such damned good trucks. I'm thinking I could use it to tow my new travel trailer which is a bit on the heavy side for the new Taco, though it suffices.

SLO-town, eh? I'm in Arroyo Grande, 15 minutes south! ;)

I'm gonna mull this over tonight and figure a good way to to lay out my potential plan to my 'Better Half'. Timing sort of sucks as we're right in the middle of a move across town to the Village but life must go on...trucks must still be purchased!

What a beauty. Just get rid of the Raiders floor mats and you should be good. Suggestion: Review the photo of the rear of the LC.
    Is that the V8?
I wish I was in the market.

I believe these are all V8s...
The raiders mats... my dad has mats to protect the protective mats... He does not follow football. He just liked the design.

I wish I had the room to keep it! (he'd probably give it to me)

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You are correct. They all come with a V8, later year models of the same body style, have the VVTI engine.

This is the first year that the land cruiser switched from a solid front axle to independent suspension.

Super reliable. I have owned many LCs and they are most certainly the most refined Toyota made. I would not hesitate to take a high mileage LC across the country, given that all the rubber hoses have been replaced.

Since I already live in San Diego, do you think he would adopt me?
