For sale is my 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium.

    Year: 2018
    Model: 4Runner
    Trim: TRD Off Road Premium
    Exterior: Magnetic Gray Metallic
    Interior: Black SofTex w/red stitching
    Current mileage: ~21,900
    Location: Stamford, CT
    Asking price: $36,750

Reason for sale: Commute dropped from an hour each way to five minutes each way; no longer need the truck.

Mechanical condition: Excellent, perfect, like-new, however you want to call it. Nearly all of the miles were racked up on my highway commute (~100 miles/day). I have been neurotic to the point of coming to a full, complete stop every time I shift from Reverse to Drive or vice-versa. I have never beat on it, never driven it hard. It has never been off-road. The drivetrain/powertain is 100% perfect.

Interior condition: Excellent, near-perfect, like-new. No wear whatsoever. A few minor scratches visible only to the well-trained eye, and only under close examination. The interior still has the new car smell. Never been smoked in.

Exterior condition: Excellent. There are a few tiny rock chips on the front end but they’re not noticeable from more than a foot away. The right side fenders have minor scratches from a barrel cone; these scratches can easily be removed by somebody more talented at detailing than I am. Otherwise, it’s perfect. The wheels have zero curb rash. The front license plate was never installed and thus there are no holes in the front bumper. The truck has only seen snow twice; there is zero rust. I wash and detail the 4Runner regularly with a variety of Chemical Guys products. At the last oil change I was told the tires have 80% life left. As a whole, the 4Runner presents as practically brand-new.

I bought this 4Runner new in September of 2018. I am the only owner. Total MSRP was $41,443. Added options were the power tilt/slide sunroof, cargo net, door edge guards, exhaust tip, and roof rack cross bars. I have the original window sticker.

The truck is bone stock aside from a few add-ons. These include: Toyota OEM rubber 4Runner logo floor mats (front and rear rows), Husky Liner rear cargo area floor mat, Toyota OEM hitch cover, center console organizer. I also have the original TRD carpet floor mats. The truck is mechanically and physically unmodified.

I have taken meticulous care of this 4Runner. Synthetic oil changes have been performed every 5k miles by the same Toyota dealer's service department. I replaced the cabin filter at around 15,000 miles. I wash and detail the truck myself. I have *every* receipt and piece of paperwork associated with the vehicle, from oil changes to the original bill of sale and window sticker, etc.. I also have kept a logbook of every service and wash/cleaning it has had in its life, since brand new. I hate to see it go, but such is life.

I bought the truck thinking I'd keep it forever. My commute has since gone from 50 miles one-way (about an hour) to 2.5 miles one-way (about 10 minutes). Being that the truck is far and beyond my biggest expense and that I a) no longer need 4WD and b) want to get back into autocross but only have 1 parking spot, I'm selling it to buy something like an inexpensive Miata so as to save some money and have an AutoX-friendly vehicle.
