If you are aware of the seat mod, I did it and what a difference. I decided while I had the material and ability to make some decent ones , I would make a few to sell. They are made from 1 1/2" solid aluminum bar stock, 1" tall. Spacers alone are $7.50 each or with hardware (bolts) they are $10.00 each $7.00 shipping.
I can make special order sizes if not in a big hurry. Couple days.

(Listen, 5 mins you will know if this is a nice feel for you. Just pull the back 2 bolts and slide something about an inch (not more than an inch) under each foot and sit in it. I am sure you will instantly know if it is right for you. I didn't do these to make money. ( Retired, don't need the work or $$$$ ) So after reading about all the ranting I tried it and was so impressed I figured I would make some decent ones for folks. But nothing is free, so I gotta pay for electric, machines and materials. Not getting rich. LOL ,Good luck, Be safe , and maybe , just maybe a comfortable tush .
    Thank you

I'll take 4 spacers. I won't need bolts though, I still have mine from the 4crawleroffroad kit that I didn't trust to be safe. How do you want payment?

Pardon my stupidity, but what exactly does the seat mod do/offer? Is it just to raise the seat, to give you a better view?

It makes the low factory seats more comfortable on longer drives and also more "truck-like" if you want to call it that. I didn't even bother driving with the other ones installed so now I'll be able to see if it makes a difference for me or not. Worth a try though!

Gotcha. Do you, or would you, do it to both the driver and the passenger seat?!

This is just for the rear seat bolts correct?

Can I ask how tall you are? My seats lower cushion does slant low quite a bit!

I'm going to do it for both just because I'm OCD about the seats being even. I'm 5'11" and have about the minimum head space I would want with the 1 inch spacers. I wouldn't do any longer ones. And yes it's the rears only so it changes the angle of the bottom of the seat.

If you do a search it has been discussed quite a bit. It is an easy cheap mod that works for some of us older farts.

I got some done. When these are gone I will have to make them from either 1 1/4" aluminum bar stock, or 1 1/2" aluminum bar stock. This bar stock I used 1 3/8" was the shortest piece I had laying around. The others are full sticks that I shouldn't lift yet. Anyway here is a couple pics.

I don't think a person needs a grade 8 bolt for the back of the seat but I could be wrong. I can tell you tho, I ran a total of 42 miles today searching for these bolts. I guess if these things keep going I am gonna order a bulk of maybe 50 on line. Heres a pic. Notice where they are made? Take ya guess. LOL
