    Was in there last year with my buddy's Rubicon but we had a small utility trailer and decided not to mess with it. I walked up the first 1/2 mile or so.

    About a 1 1/2 miles in there's some really nasty washouts. About 200 yards of the road being almost gone with 2-4 foot deep "ruts". The problem is the ruts run down the road not across it. That was 2 years ago so maybe it's changed but I know the FS is not interested in fixing them. Even coming in from the top via Crooked Creek isn't an easy trip. It's a fun area that sees very little traffic.

    Yeah, we did get into the meadows from the top and there was nobody around. We went in there to check out a placer claim near the switchbacks. Wasn't what we hoped for...
