I just received a pm from the OP. Says he can't post up to this thread for some reason?

    he directed me to:

    www. gg lights dot net

-- I am in no way associated with the website nor do I vouch for it. I am merely relaying information as a good deed to both the OP and to those who are looking for more information from this thread.

Unfortunately, I still have not received the lights that I have ordered. I am not sure if he is overwhelmed with orders or if something happened. I have been trying to be patient as much as possible.

I will remove all negative remarks as soon as my order is resolved.

^From another thread on the same lights, only that group buy was for a minimum of 40 retrofitted lights.

I have a pair of (Metal) Hella 4000 halogen 100 watt pencil beams... I am considering converting them to 35 watt HID, 4300ºK color (pure white)... I have seen one kit that requires a 3/4" to 1" hole drilled in back of the lamp housing for the wiring... then I read of another that can use the existing hole... Can you describe how your conversion works, and is there a shop you are at I can come to and have it done while I wait?
    Thank you.

Ummm... you guys haven't been reading the Lighting forum posts, I guess???

Go there and read the sticky: 'Beware of this person', as well as my thread on converting my Hella 4000s to HID (which was done by Yooooo, aka Cody of GG Lighting). Cody had a 'melt down' and left his customers hanging for a month after the group buy (and doing my conversion at his house)... Many of his bulbs and ballasts were defective or not what they were labled. Thankfully, his associate 'Chris' arrived to bail him out and send replacements. It took 3 shipments of bulbs to me to get the correct color, and they still flicker... Chinese quality... but, they were cheap and they work.
