Right now waiting to see if I get any local offers for the whole package and if not I'm going to haul it out to MT. So for now, yes the roof rack set up is off the market, but if that should change you'll be the first to know. I also tried to get a weight for everything the other day and had a hell of a time trying to accurate measurements for the shipping quote we had discussed for the roof rack.

Silverados are decent trucks and they do offer some amazing rebates and incentives on them.
Congrats on the new ride and boy!

Yeah considering that in 138,000 miles with my tacoma I only had 1 mechanical issue EVER (bearings on a belt tensioner went bad and had to be replaced) and it was running great when I sold it I can only hope the same will be true with the silverado. And yeah the rebates and incentives, along with the great trade-in value they gave me, were too hard to pass up considering my needs had changed. I know the owner of the dealership so I trust that if anything goes wrong he will do everything he can to make it right. But I will say, I am definitely experiencing some TWS...tacoma withdrawal symptoms. Also having trouble finding a silverado forum that's as helpful and informative as TW.

Hey Tisher, if I go camping up at Skyline next week, I'll swing thru Orange on Saturday and pick up the sleeping platform, I have a short bed but I will make it work

Actually have someone interested in the whole package and he's looking to pick it all up tomorrow. If for some reason he changes his mind about the platform I will let you know. Would be easy to modify as you could just cut down however much you need to off the end up near the cab.

UPDATE: Person interested in cap had some mechanical issues so we're waiting to see what happens with that in the next week or so. Still trying to keep the whole package together and to sell locally. If that deal falls through it's first come first serve (locally) and if no one local wants it the cap might find a new home in MT.

Local buyer is NOT able to purchase the cap due to mechanical issues with his truck. Still for sale. I am willing to negotiate the price (not too much obviously) and if need be I can sell the cap separate from the roof rack, bike rack etc.
