    Oh wow is the one I posed some kind of knock off with the same name? New is over $300 with tax so that is a great deal @essjay I do like the idea of no steel in the recovery system. When my original line needs to be replaced I will be looking at this. Right now I just run the thimble end with a soft shackle, no hook.

    I'm not sure what is up with the one you posted. Same brand, but I'm not sure if it has the same attachment method. The one @545 posted is the version I have.

    If it doesn't sell, I'll just use it myself to replace what I have when the time comes, although I've found that I really like the Harbor Freight winch's hook.
