I paid less than what I'm asking. If you can get a set from a dealer for regular price, I'd jump all over it.

Edit: I called my dealer today just to see what they said:

    a) You have to have a VIN number and registration for a TRD SE FJ.
    b) They had none in stock, and the port had 2, meaning they're on back order from the port.

If you got a set of PT904-35071 for $625 shipped, or with tax locally that is a great deal. Everyone I've talked to recently has said that these are unobtanium, and I can't find a set from any online retailers or ebay.

However, if you're talking about the PT904-35070 wheels (silver) then I don't doubt it. Those are readily available for $600-$675 shipped.

Thanks for the bump though :)

Trail team one's are black the TRD one's are anthracite. I guess I got lucky I paid $125 a wheel just had to give them a VIN number. Asking price is very high to me but there not my rims so GLWS.

Okay I have to get something off my chest.

I find it hard to think a community where, my interpretation is that we are supporting each (this and other sites) - anyway where the 'board' frowns upon people putting information or challenges to high prices. My interpretation of a good community is where there is open sharing to steer people to help them. But maybe I'm a socialist! ;D

If someone wants to sell something without any comments, there is always CL and eBay - Hell, ebay won't even ding you for being a bad supplier! They only allow positive comments!

Anyway, good luck with your sale - they are nice wheels. Over priced in my opinion but nice wheels all the same.

I am pretty sure he was referring to copying a vin # off a Special Edition FJ that is for sale... Otherwise, Toyota will not release these wheels to the Dealership for customers. I tried. Around September 1st, Toyota Made these wheels impossible for the consumer to get in-order to protect the investment of FJ owners who paid extra for the Special Edition package.

The only reason I ended up getting a set, was because they were ordered and sitting at a dealership before September 1st when they stopped selling them to the public.

I called about 6 or 7 different dealerships to order at a quoted $524 price, several of them even processed my credit card, but every one of them called me back and said Toyota blocked the order and there was nothing they could do.

Anyway, I am just sharing my experiences..

I'm taking a business oriented perspective on this. If someone wants to offer me less, then that's fine. So far I've been offered $800 shipped, which after paypal fees and shipping leaves me with about $675. That's lower than I'm willing to go. Other than that, nobody has offered me anything.

I'd say this is a pretty open discussion. I've asked for lower prices, and I've been straightforward that the silver ones are available for a lot less than I'm asking.

I'm not trying to be an impediment to people getting a fair shake, but I have yet to find anyone who can tell me a place that has 4 of these in stock, and available without scamming the seller with a phony VIN. I have no "frown" on anyone challenging my price, but I'm not going to take someone's word on the internet just because they say it's true. I'm only asking for proof that they're in stock, and available for purchase.

If anyone can do that, I'll lower my price or simply choose to keep the wheels.

    Bro!

If you want top dollar for these why do you not go to eBay? You get a much larger audience and you don't have to take any flak.

There are Tundra and FJ guys that may want these too.

I have my own opinion of value but that's just my opinion. Your best bet is eBay.

    Just my 2c - okay $0.40 but I won't charge you!

    Best wishes!
