Very well built and fully customized for off-road camping. Trailer started as a heavy gauge steel Korean War era military trailer for hauling a generator and includes military Pintle hitch which provides almost unlimited articulation. The box measures 4' x 6' x 2' high and has a six inch drop-floor for lower center of gravity and increased cargo capacity. The exterior of the trailer measures 81" and will fit inside most standard garages. It has an aluminum diamond plate hinged top with gas struts for access to cargo. Inside the box there is a 30 gallon water heater, deep cell 12V battery and high efficiency water pump. The interior of the box also has cargo capacity for camp gear. The tailgate opens up and out comes a drawer-based, folding kitchen complete with drawers, counter top space, cook top for camp stove and sink. The sink has an on-demand water heater that runs off the 10 lb propane tank mounted on the outside. The sink is plumbed to use the hot water for showers also. The Rooftop Tent (RTT) is built by Mombasa and measures 4'X4' closed up, but opens up to 24 SF of room for two with 2" foam mattress (or two adults and a child). Never tried a RTT?...consider it your personal little nest perched at the top of the food chain above puddles, rocks and snakes that is about twice as fast and easy to set up as a comparable sized ground tent. The RTT is built on a steel frame which elevates the tent above the box so that the water tank and cargo space are accessible. I just had a brand new 3500 lb axle installed by Kro-Built and the hubs are currently Toyota/Chevy 6 on 5.5. The tires are 265 70 R17 with about 50% tread on 2007 Tacoma factory wheels painted black. I also have a pair of the same wheels that are not painted. I also have a pair of 35" Procomp tires mounted on Mickey Thomspon Baja stainless wheels with 5 lug Jeep pattern (pictured in some of the pix). If you're a Jeep guy you could change the hubs to match for about $100. Extra wheels are all negotiable. This trailer brand new would cost you up to 10k with this set-up. Has Permanent California Trailer registration. I love this trailer but the wife wanted a boat so it's gotta go! Thanks for the reply...I actually sold it last night to a local Reno guy who drives a 2nd Gen Taco, great to keep it in the family!

I actually bought it from a guy here in Reno who said he did the DIY thing. I added the new Toyota friendly axles and hubs and installed a new water pump. It doesn't really look that complicated and is pretty fun. I really miss it, but the wife didn't like going up and down the ladder, and if the truth were known I probably had no business going up and down the ladder at 52 with several beers on board! Good luck on your project.
