I am selling my Tepui Ayer Sky 2 roof-top tent and the KB Voodoo mid-height long bed bed rack that it sits on.

I am asking [SOLD] $850 for the Tepui Ayer Sky 2 tent [SOLD] and [PRICE REDUCED] $400 for the KB Voodoo mid-height long bed bed rack [PRICE REDUCED]. I am located in Longmont, CO, and I would be willing to drive about 50 miles to deliver if needed. If bought together, I am asking for $1250 total (a savings of $50) and I would be more than happy to help transfer the tent and rack, and show you the ins and outs of the tent, if desired.

I bought the Tepui Ayer Sky 2 tent brand new in April 2018 from REI in Fairbanks, AK. I have used it about two dozen nights since purchase, and it has been an absolute dream. It is roomy, comfortable, easy to set up and put away, and it kept me safe and dry. I used it on a road trip from Alaska, through Canada, through Washington State, Orgeon, California, Nevada, Utah and finally in Colorado, as well as local areas in Colorado. It is in fantastic condition, with some minor sun fading of the outside cover, as well as some dirt and grime from living on the back of my truck year round. The tent has two wear-spots on the shell due to the ladder rubbing on the shell. There is no harm in these wear spots, and they can be touched up with paint, tape, or plasti-dip if desired. The photos include my extra wide, 2 person sleeping bag on the inside to show the room inside the tent.

Here are the specifications of the tent straight from Tepui:
    Sleeping Capacity: 2
    Seasons: 4-season
    Size (Closed): 48" X 42" X 11" (WxLxH)
    Size (Open): 48" X 84" X 39" (WxLxH)
    Sleeping Footprint: 48" x 84" (WxL)
Canopy Fabric: 260 g Polyester Cotton; 600D ripstop fabric with water resistant ventilate coating; UV and mold resistant
    Mosquito screens: no-see-um mesh
Rainfly Fabric: 420D Polyester Oxford; PU coated
Mattress: High Density 2-1/2" foam with cotton cover
Travel Cover Material: 1000g Heavy Duty PVC
    Weight: 95 lbs
    Internal Frame: 5/8" aluminum tube
Base Construction: Welded aluminum tube with insulation and aluminum cap sheet
Ladder Construction: 8ft-6in Telescoping Aluminum Ladder

I bought the KB Voodoo mid-height long bed bed rack in April 2018. I had it shipped up to Alaska, where it has seen all the same action that my tent has. This bed rack is designed for the 2005+ year model Tacoma, and this long bed model can fit BOTH long and short bed 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacomas.

Unfortunately for the bed rack, this one was part of a bad batch at a third-party powder coat that KB Voodoo used, and the powder coat has since started to flake off, introducing surface rust on exposed areas and some slightly under the remaining powder coat. You can refer to the pictures for the condition of the bed rack. It is structurally sound, and has fully supported the tent, myself, and my gear with zero issues. The rust is superficial, and if you are not sensitive to looks, the bed rack does everything it is designed to do. If you're feeling handy and motivated, it would be a great opportunity to strip and repaint, perhaps a color-matched bed rack? :)

Price reduced! Asking $850 for the tent, $450 for the bed rack, or $1250 if bought together.

Bump. I took the tent off my truck today and disassembled the KB Voodoo bed rack into 6 main parts (2 cross bed ends, 2 side plates, 2 top rails) to make it easier to exchange, and I'd be happy to assist setting it all up if needed, just some quick bolts and you're good to go. The Tepui tent will fit inside the Tacoma bed, for easy transport. This also allows them to be sold separately really easy, flexible on prices!
