Thank you for being patient, @AzogSS and @PDX_Cray I gave my sandblaster a call yesterday and he is assuring me they will be completed today. I'm also waiting for more double shear kits to arrive from JDFAB. Going to make sure your guys' spindles get completed ASAP.

So for some good news! I'm going to be partnering with a big vendor I'm sure you've all heard of, and am going to have various gussets cut out in bulk, which will greatly reduce lead times. I'll share more when all the little details are worked out.

 

Got a notification that my JDFAB parts have shipped today. Should be getting delivered on Thursday.

Install was not that bad at all. The hardest part is getting the abs sensor back in a super tight fit and hard to get a grip on the bolt. These clear my wilwoods (even with no dust plate) but oh man it's close!!..Great quality!!! Great customer service.

 

Don’t settle for incorrectly installed/welded spindle gussets. Currently, this set didn’t offer much protection to the owner.

This is the 6th set I’ve come across like this now.

Welding the gussets while on the truck, or without grinding down the surface area for good weld penetration always leads to issues and a substandard gusset installation. Some spots were even missing welds.

These spindles will get sandblasted, all welds will be redone, maybe I’ll upgrade it with a #jdfabrication Double Shear Heim Kit, and this set will be good to reuse and offer great protection for the next owner!
