    So sorry for your loss Shauna. Wife and I lost our son 5 years ago to Fentynal . She will never be the same. They were very close. I hope some day you will be able to resume being the same funny lady that you have always been on here. I know the pain of losing a child and it will take a lot to come to peace with it. Good luck to your family.

    With every loss, it also becomes a teaching opportunity. I have discussed this with my kids already (this very thread) and many other topics like drugs, sex, relationships, etc. We are pretty open in our family and talk often. Keeping the lines of communication open is key. The other day my oldest daughter (13) was talking about one of her schoolmates that was raped by another boy in school. This happened in her own room, both families were in the house at the time. We talked to her and explained why we don’t put her in those situations (and then discussed situational awareness).

    My poor kids… I remember getting them ready for school one day and telling them that I was going to make supper that night they all said “Please mom, no!” Lol
    I could do easy basic stuff but I could also screwup easy basic stuff …..was a crapshoot.
