    500 good drivers can be ruined by one clown laying on his horn, getting as close as possible to the bucket truck, screaming every racial slur and obscenity known to mankind (and a few that aren't) never mind the cones, lights, two perfectly good lanes next to him, or the freaking flagman. :frusty:

    Anyways, going to pick up the little here in a bit, so on to a brighter day :D

    The Sunday usual, laundry at my parents where she gets to see Mimi and pawpaw and her cousin (Frank!) who lives 5 houses down.

    My two favorites were

    A: Lady drove through a construction zone in a subdivision easily doing 35 mph, went through the cones and crashed into an open hole. Turns out she's actually married to a very powerful lawyer with a local firm. So we had to do depositions and all kinds of witness statements and everything else. When it was my turn I got up and just said "she drove on the wrong side of the road" and that ended the entire thing.

    B: another subdivision this time doing full concrete street replacements, we had been in there for about 3 weeks doing between 40 and 80 yd a day (small crew, weather etc) And we saw this dude in his first gen. Colorado come in and out twice a day everyday at the exact same time. And everyday he would wave or wait for us to wave him through depending on what we were doing.

    One day right after an obnoxiously long poor, he pulls in and at full speed drives right into the wet cement and then claims that we didn't have it marked and he didn't know we were working in there. The county went easy on him and only charged him roughly $28,000 in damage. Because the stuff was still somewhat wet and soft digging it back out really wasn't that hard and everything was still set up so we were able to repour it the next day.
