    It’s better than it used to be because of new drainage on the county road in front of the house . The sump pump pit is about 2 feet deep with a large pump . We used to get 6” sometimes now it pretty much only around an inch deep sometimes when we get too much rain . It’s a flood plain across the road .Just the other side of that dark green bush is also a stream over there . This is where they want to put a couple hundred acres of solar panels o_O been fighting that for years .:mad:

    I’m one house in a row of 9 here and every basement floods . The guy 4 houses up from me gets it bad . His pump runs for at least a week out to the road after it rains . There is a concrete swale along side the white line on the road . It’s a river now .

    The town and 99% of the residents have been fighting it for almost 10 years . New York State just keeps letting them file applications even after previous applications have been denied . It’s all about the $$$$$$$$ . New York want to be a leader in green energy . :mad:

    I went to my favorite coffee shop and had coffee with a couple of friends, put away and organized more things, got a few things hung on the wall, and tried to organize some work things until I lost focus…… which was right after I layed everything out on the floor:oops:
    Papers and files covered my living room floor!


    I did nothing with the mess and stacked everything into one pile and moved it to my bedroom :anonymous:
