Morning fellas… yesterday morning sucked, had a decent day being with my grandson and out of this house…. Then we came home. Ended rough. Ughhhh! I just wish this fear I have of being here would lessen. Instead it’s getting stronger….. what is that?!?!

Fear of being here? Do you mean being home, or on the planet earth, or here in this thread?
If it's planet earth, then you need to go see someone who can help you... NOW. If it's fear of being home, maybe you and your husband can get away for a bit to unwind. If it's fear of this thread... I can see that. This thread has been nice, but at some point maybe it's just repetitive, and keeping you from moving past what has happened. All of the hearts are wonderful, but are they really helping you to move on to the next stage of grief?
I dunno, I'm probably wrong... but I kinda think this thread may be doing you more harm than good at this point. Others (and you) may feel differently.

Fear of being in My home…..

This thread is a comfort for me and it really is more helpful than you all realize. I want to talk about him, but I don’t always know where to go with that… some places people might get tired of that. Here in this thread, if someone is tired of it, they can control that by not coming in here. I don’t feel like a burden in this thread… if that makes sense.

You are no burden, talk all you like.

Being busy is a good thing for a troubled mind.
Maybe it is time to change up the home a bit, move some furniture, paint some rooms a color way different than current, rotate the pictures around.

It will still be "home" but with a fresh look that might break up some of the memories and conditioned responses.

Never think you are a burden. You are not. We all want to help. Sometimes its easier to talk to people you never met vs family. It will take time to heal. It wont be easy some days. We dont know the situation nor is it truely our business. We are here for emotional support for you and your family. And vent away anytime. PMs work too and are open.

I am so afraid I might say something wrong.

I really never had to deal with any family so the way I look at things can be quite different.

Please don’t ever feel like that. I’m not that type of person. I’m always open to hearing things and I understand nothing is meant to hurt me. If I don’t understand your point or if it makes me feel a certain type of way… I’ll ask :) i’m really easy to communicate with.

I lost my wife 3 years ago at home on hospice to lung cancer. I slept in our finished basement for 3 months and dreaded coming home.
It takes a long time to heal and It's getting better. That's what I believe is true love for someone.
