    So many drivers drive distracted. Around here more and drives are running red lights, and not by a little bit. Even when the light has been changed for a bit.

    Tell me about it. I my job is road maintenance and whenever we're working on the main roads I have to keep my head on a swivel. We've had drivers go around us in the suicide lanes and I almost got creamed my 2nd week there

    Tow truck drivers was getting hit randomly here. I forgot what they did to decrease the amount of accidents. It did work.

    It's part of the job for tow truck drivers. I went on a few calls with my friend. I almost got hit a few times. I then became designated traffic controller. Someone saw me controlling the traffic and thought it as a good idea. Now, other companies are doing the same when needed.

    People do have to use more common sense when driving. Especially this time of the year.

    Tow trucks driving are starting to part in the roadway more. Blocking themselves from traffic. Using flare, flashing lights, cones. High visibility clothing. Putting warning signs up 100ft plus away from the working area.

    With all precautions there will always be idiots.
