We also had people making comments and judgements about our situation. The hospital they took him too was not in our hometown. I feel like they treated us bad and showed no compassion for my wife.

I'm headed to the cancer center this morning for a CT scan on my chest . I will see the Oncologist Monday morning for the results. Then I have to go by the hospital to see my Mom , she had a pacemaker installed yesterday.

So sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine the hurt that your family is going through right now, and can only offer our prayers and best wishes for you all in this terrible time.

It took it's toll on my wife. Some of the worst people to pass judgement were my own family of course.

Thank you…. It’s the worst kind of suck!!!
Thankfully my family is very supportive. Most people are too….. it kills me how the people who don’t know or aren’t that close are the ones who think they know!!! Pisses me off so bad! How would these people like it if it were someone they know? What is wrong with people that you can’t have compassion, empathy, and respect for those left behind who are suffering. At this point it is not about the person who is gone, they aren’t experiencing the pain, it’s the people left behind.

As you are aware, some people really suck. It is about them. When my son was born I still had to work from the hospital and remember having a conversation with a customer telling her whatever problem she has at her house I will be there in a week. I told her my son was just born 36 hours ago and everyone else I had to call obviously didn't know, said congratulations call when your back in. Not her, she kept complaining about her , her, her. My being the sarcastic person I am I asked her what she would like me to do from the hospital, should I strap my 6 hour kid to the truck to come see your "emergency" which it wasn't.

Some people don't care. Not all are bad but the shitty ones ruin alot. I've realized with people like that awhile ago to not care since I really don't care their opinion. I have to much going on and to big of an ass to let them gwt the upper hand.

Anger is normal even if directed at other people. Most will understand and not take it to heart. There unfortunately is not a textbook way to grieve and everyone does it differently.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope that you are surrounded by family and friends that love and support you. There is no time frame for grieving. I know everyone deals with loss differently.

This port allows them access to my jugular vein.

Thx guys. That port makes the whole process easier. Everyone at the cancer center has always been so nice and caring.

I just don’t get it…. You’re right, some people do suck!!

Yikes…..hope things went well for you today!!

I know some family members don’t agree with this but I broke into Maxxs phone. I’ve been reading it tonight. I came across this message he sent to his friend

    29FB0C4B-C7F0-4FF5-AEF5-C46EE5FCD47E.jpg

Gives me such mixed feelings…. All day was mixed feelings really. From okish to upset to mad to upset to very mad back to upset and now….. I’m exhausted. I really hate this!!!

I’m not good company today/tonight so I’m signing off.

Hope you all have a good night!

    ❤️
