    A lot like wheeling.... :boink:

Yep, nothing like torching frozen and rusted hardware at 2:00 a.m. in the middle of an ice storm and then having to remount plowbalades and chains by yourself.

    That's where the fun begins

    Except in a dump truck
We had to do that to the rubber on one of the blades, apparently that's not the right way according to Rich :jerkoff:

Correct, you don't torch the 6 inch thick vulcanized rubber, you torch the hardware. Cutting wheel for the rubber if you have to .

Also with all trucks lined up in a row, sideways. We can light up the highway better than daylight.

With plow blade on all fog light are useless. The plow set up light aren't to bad but can be improve.

My friend rigged up light on the truck that were perfect. The right location, right color temp. Then the lights were discontinued.

Merry Christmas Shauna. Enjoy the day to the best of your ability. My heart goes out to you. Today will be full of happy times and sad times. You through the low points of the day anyway you can. I say this from experience, because on Christmas Eve 2 years ago my dad past. My sister nor I were able to get to where he was before he past. Long story short: he ended up in the hospital to have emergency heart bypasses (5 of them). The surgery was to much for my dad. He didn’t survive the procedure and passed before we could even see him. He live in Las Vegas, my sister is in Northern California and I had been given covid from an employee as a Christmas gift. There are very few days that past that I don’t think of my dad. Sometimes I get a little sad, sometimes I get mad that he’s not here to talk to, but mostly I remember all the things he taught me, the fun we had and the long phone calls we shared.
As time passes the pain will be easer to handle, and the sad moments will be shorter. I will always have your son in your heart and thoughts, and he will always be with you. Hugs for you from me and prayers too.

An advantage to plowing highways with the state.

Downside of the county level.... People hugging the middle of the road and flashing their brights (and light bars) at you while you're trying to plow. I usually gave them the air horn as a response. Usually got them to scoot over lol

The city tries to plow when most people are home. Less idiots on the road. The streets are narrow here.

Most plow drivers don't move. With dumb people driving this causes a lot issues.

Here most people are smoking weed, drunk, high as a kite, while driving.

This is the cause of most accident here.
