mom would love for me to stay longer. Sister too, but she also wants me to get home to find a bigger house. So mom can live with us part of the year and at my sister’s the other part of the year. Right now my sister and I are hoping the roads will be cleared over night, so we can go snowboarding again on my way home.

Morning all

 

I am enjoying the time, but I need to get back. Home and work are suffering.
Snow in Alabama? Ha they don’t know what snow is. Half of an inch of what Alabama calls snow, and the place is shut down. Their snow is more like very very small ice pellets. No road clearing equipment and drivers that don’t know how to drive.
In 2014 the last “snow event” people just left their vehicles where they stopped in the roadways. It was almost impossible to navigate through, but my tacoma and I made it around abandoned cars. Even pulled a couple people out. One would think we got 4-6 inches of snow in a very short time. Nope, it was a half of an inch that turn to ice, because everyone was in a panic driving to get stuff.

 

These is how I feel too.
