Very well said. I lost my mom in May 2020 unexpectedly, and even 3 years later, it is just a different way of life. There are some good days, some bad days, but grief has an odd way of changing you. Stay strong.

 

Just noticed you’re in Colorado…. My middle boy just moved home from there. Maxx was the straw that tipped the scales. He wanted to be close to family.

Yah, most all sports. My wife and I have been cheering on the Nuggets since 2000 when we met out here (college), so this year was a big one for us. Champs, baby!!
And our daughter plays lacrosse, so we've been learning that one since it was new for us, lol

I don’t think I would last 5 min. I did kill 2 rattlesnakes one day with a 3 iron.

 

I am still sad.... things stacked up last year (my own personal shit) and I haven't been very happy and everytime i log in here, there has been nothing but sadness. @SRH , you know I love you/ Phil and the family (at least I hope you do). Life has been a bit overwhelming, after I got covid last June. Everything has taken a backseat to me trying to be happy. Apparently life doesn't get easier as you get older.

 

Why would you kill them, were they posing a threat to your safety or attacking you?

 

Well…. My son was a UFC fighter. Didn’t get his contract renewed last year. They called him to be on The Ultimate Fighter this season. It’s airing now. He made it to round 2. It’s possible that his round 2 fight will be aired this coming Tuesday, but it’s just me trying to figure it in my head and assuming. Maxx was state champ wrestler and is being inducted into the hall of fame for it in September. My daughter was a college volleyball player. So, those are my favorite sports. Been watching UFC since my kids were in diapers.

Was on the course. We stopped the cart and my wife stepped on them when she got out. Was during a tournament and lots of others on the course

Ok, I don't like mice and rats. If the snakes are that abundant (yes, 2 in the same vicinity is abundant). There is either a food source or there is a den..... not knowing the length or size determines that. I would rather have a snake then rats or mice. (Btw, my wife owns 2 pet rats that I completely despise)

 

I have stepped on a baby, was probably only 8 inches long it struck and luckily it only got my pant leg. My dad came and cut the head off with a shovel. The largest one I have seen in the wild was about 6.5 ft long.
