    Thanks!

Just taking another step forward with my Technician certifications, moved up from "Advanced Maintenance" to "Line Tech"

    Meaning

I can do even cooler things now, and I've got slightly higher clearance with Toyota diagnostics

Long as you dress for the occasion

    Love it!!!

    and Projects it is!!!

I did construction for 15 years…. Have some old pics somewhere, but it’ll take some time to find them:oops:

Like…. Pry a long time cuz my patience and ADD will most likely kick in and I’ll be all distracted and frustrated at the same time.

In the steel mill where my daughter (and Maxx when it happened) work. Prior to their employment we did all of the concrete for the new furnace system. Overall for the mill was a multi million dollar project. We did all of the concrete.

Here’s one of the MANY pours we did

    IMG_0209.jpg

Waiting for it to harden up a bit between hitting the edges and bull float again…. I’m in the blue hard hat

    IMG_0210.jpg

an addition we did….. putting on the shingles

Trying to get into the attic and had the ladder propped up against the hole to climb into it... I proceeded to climb all the way up to the top and my wife, watching of course and not holding the ladder so it doesn't slip, yells "It's slipping".

It slipped alright and it crashed down. My fat ass then came tumbling down after the ladder. However, by some miracle or cat like reflexes, I was able to spread my legs apart, missing the ladder completely and landed perfectly on my own two feet! Meanwhile my wife was laughing so hard she didn't see how miraculous of a landing it truly was.

That was my last adventure onto a ladder

It all started about 15 years ago when I was on the ladder in the garage fixing the light. Well, the two dogs decided it was a good time to start a fight. They fought, bashed into the ladder and both the ladder and I came crashing down. It stopped the fight but I tore my ACL and MCL in the chaos

Was my favorite thing to do as far as construction goes! Last 2 years I ran an industrial concrete crew at a recycling plant that we were contracted by. We poured 150 yards every other day. Busted my ass on that job.

That’s how most of our concrete jobs were done. People in traffic are assholes! Been yelled at a few times cuz the concrete truck blocked traffic…. Not my fault people!!
