Yup, if you look on the first page of this thread I told him that I wanted one, he PM'd me a while later and said that he has one made for me.

Cool, I'm hoping he PM's me soon as well then. The factory one sucks.

Please take a photo and post once you get yours. I can see Willy selling quite a few of these. Since it's really the cheapest route and easy to install.

Sure thing. I like to help fellow TWers as much as I can. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted one.

if you climb under and look at the attachment points the passenger side is much more heavy duty.

right on buddy, while the loop on the LH itself looks better, its just kinda hanging there in mid-air welded to that thin little crossmember.

I'll try to get some pics up, I like mine. Hooked it up to my friends truck and he dragged me around no problems.

so is it best to just install on the passengers side because it's more sturdy?

I don't know if it's more sturdy but that is where the original 1 was located. I'm not sure if you could install 1 on the driver side???

I'm interested too. I added a set of Chevy tow hooks to my 97 Dakota years back....glad I did. Something like you're doing would work very well on the Gen 2 Tacos.

    Get after it man!
