Wheels, cap, running boards, vent shades, bug deflector. 8/31/2020 Tinted the driver compartment windows and strip across the windshield. What a difference.
Actually, I don't watch much football. I'm into racing and rodeo for sports.

That really does not look to bad if those are original shoes. when you took it all apart were the adjusters frozen or sticking?

About every 15-20K miles I pull the drums, clean and adjust just the shoes to keep things from freezing up. 'Cause I know one day I'll need to replace them. But as long as they last...that could be awhile. I don't want any surprises when that time comes.

Plus that keeps my parking brake nice and snug.

Thankfully no they weren't. They had a bunch of gunk on the threads but moved just fine and I cleaned the threads up before reassembly. Both sides of the truck had the exact same wear pattern, and definitely aren't original. The drums had no grooving really so either they've never been in adjustment, or they were replaced in the last couple years.

You pull the drums every 15-20 miles? How do you ever get to your destinations?

Looks like I will be needing to do rear brakes soon. I have shoes, should I go with OEM drums or is there a good aftermarket brand? Should I go to one of the chain stores that offer lifetime brakes and spend a little more? What’s the consensus?

Double check to see if you need drums first. I've typically been able to go through two sets of shoes before doing drums. Autozone has good drums, 50 a pop for 5 lug, 100 a pop for 6 lug.

I agree. You may not need them. But nothing wrong with the chain store stuff
