    @FlyingWolfe

    Has the Dig Safe laws change in your area?

    Now, in this area if the job goes untouched or unfinished in 30 days a new Dig Safe inspection has to be done.

    You don't clean the engine bay first. Usually I'll start the bay first then the outside just incase grease, oil gets on the paint.

    This is why I wrote the prices of the roof and driveway repairs. Get an idea of prices in the 2 different states.

    I value people opinion on stuff I don't know anything about and that's why I ask people with experience.

    Thanks for your inputs, it's appreciated.

    Mornin Smoke. Safe travels. And I tend to call it both. My wife refers to it simply as "the truck".

    The other train of thought is to get everything done then clean it. Either way really

    YW ... FWIW last year spent $5k on driveway double wide and 4 car lengths long. 10 yrs back had additional siding on house (windward side) and entire house painted, that went $8k IIRC. In my mind $5k to $10k is ballpark of significant home improvements. Furnace replacement and on demand water heater install was middle of that range. Houses cost to keep 'em up right. Maybe that info helps? :notsure:

    EDIT: Cost of living in AK is generally higher than lower 48 too.

    Changed, no. Different state to state, yes. Maine is a 60 day expiration. NH is only 30 days.
    If youre still working on your project all you need to do is call 811 and say you need to renew your ticket before it expires and a new alert goes out. If its a project we’re aware of we usually just pass it that we’ve already marked our pipeline. If we have to be on site then we’re usually coordinating with the person excavating already anyways and they just call us directly and we go out for the digs on their schedule.
