Makes it much easier to sell. Also nice I don't have to do emissions. There would have to be some modifications to get that to go through for uhhhh... reasons... :spy:

@Delta09 I haven't tried my luck with my truck yet, but if yours can pass... I've surely got nothing to worry about.

Not sure how stringent Maine is, but in PA if your lights work, brakes are good, tires decent, still have a visual cat, and don't have too many rust holes you can usually find a shop that will pass it. Some are more picky than others. Then you have Billy Bob's Uncle Brothers Sticker Slap Service that will literally scrape your old sticker and put on a new one. Those are usually $10 more than the $30 because you buy the guy lunch. Those just have a signature and your vin on the back, no other identification info

Depends entirely on the shop around here. I know some places that will spray paint your brake lines black when they sticker the vehicle. Others I know will give you a hard time about leaving the shop if there's even a slight bubble. Usually I'll take any good vehicle to the second shop to find out everything I need to fix. Then take it to the first shop to have a sticker put on it so I can drive it while making repairs on the weekends.
