The wide variety of gaskets for this thing is way out there. As to be expected for something that's been outta production for may years.

Still gotta get the new fuel filter on there. That's gonna be a job and a half! Gotta take the battery and tray out to even think about getting access to it. Need to make a new battery tie down while I'm at it so I can refit the strut bar. Also gonna pull the amp and sub setup so I can throw that in the replacement beater. Gotta get something outta this deal

Hey Mike, how difficult a job is replacing the rubber boot on the front propellar shaft coming out of the transfer case?

A stick took the perfect jab sometime Thursday; probably when driving around the newly plowed and tilled pasture sowing grass seed. Stitch has a boo boo.

 

More than enough time ...I'm doomed.

 

R and R the shaft. Mark the shaft tube for orientation. Pull it apart replace it add grease reinstall.
