I could pay $8 for a damn nasty fair corn dog. Or $11 for 2 tacos, corn and a cold Pepsi. No brainer

In 2.5 years and 23k miles it's her first scratch or dent anywhere on the thing. So I can't really complain.

Frankly the incline was stupid steep and there were 4 of us plus a trunk full of luggage. So she was probably sitting a little lower than normal....and the wife came into a little hot too. Kinda of a perfect storm.

I sanded the area down smooth and masked off that entire side of the bumper cover and headlight. The Duplicolor can lays down the paint pretty good. Lori was happy.

Had a nice time tonight with my 13 year old at the fair. We don't get a chance to get out like that often enough. Good times ♡

before we travelled I knocked out an oil change. Found all 5 zerks for lube (thanks @Delta09) but only hit 4 of ‘em. There are two on the front drive shaft. The one closest to the differential is tucked behind a heat shield above the exhaust crossover. Could not get to it without dropping the heat shield. Being the dumb ass that I am, rather than an impact to crack the corrosion, I grabbed a breaker bar and that 12mm head popped right off.
Now I’m looking at liquid wrench/heat/ easy out to get the shield off and replace the bolts so that I can lube that zerk regularly and keep those threads corrosion free.

Here's that small deck/porch I did last week. Still waiting on the stainless steel cable railing parts to arrive.

Hoping everything lands nicely on the footings when I head over later this morning to lower the jack and remove the blocking. Have some shims just in case.

Grease gun with flexible hose will access that zerk w/out removing the heat shield.
