For Stock Rigs Only

This weeks progress.

Removed/demod old 8x10 deck, moved rock that was under said deck and removed sod for new deck. New 8x16 and 10x24 decks going in.




Footings/Pads installed, new fabric and rocks put back where 8x16 deck will be going. They shorted us 5 footings/pads. Should be delivered this afternoon, but I wrapped up after putting that rock back in place. It'll be raked/leveled later. Rock will be removed from pad locations and fabric will be cut.

Good evening OEMers. My brother and his wife are in town. We don't see one another very often. Should be a pleasant visit

 

Rolled 111,111 last week. Rosie still going strong. I desperately need brakes and a fluid exchange... New apartment owners don't allow ANY working in the parking spots now.

 

That's a moment when a buddy and a 12 pack to use his garage/driveway and spare hands comes in handy!

Find an Autozone or Advance Auto near by and claim a corner spot. They couldn't care any less if you wrench as long as you clean up when you're done

 

As long as you don't drain your oil down their storm drain...

 

they've got those really convenient slotted drains right there in the lot....which is for oil and which is this 'storm drain' you speak of?

True. Don't do that

I've seen guys drain their oil into the catch pan and literally get up and go dump it in the recycling tank. Those places are completely chill about wrenching.

 

I would do that if I was competent by any stretch. Also, my health right now makes that a non starter for me. When I could do stuff at home, I would pull stuff off one day then rest. Next day I would put stuff back. Last day would be my safety check and road test.

I’ve been quoted almost a grand for brakes all around and fluid replacement. Three shops, all within the same price range. I had a forth shop quote me a super cheap price, but I found some BBB complaints about them using used parts, but passing them off as new. Not going there.
