Getting one of our 3 annual rains here in Mohave county. Love how clean and fresh the desert smells after a soaking. Coming from the midwest, thunderstorms and rain are what I miss most.

Well, karma works quickly. In drive through line at taco smell today, person infront of me left after ordering, so I got their food for free.

Oh we've triple checked things as we've gone along. We still have several things to do before firing it. Finish up some wiring on the Haltech management system, prime the fuel and oil systems. We have an intercooler fan to install. But we'll wait on that until she's running well.

The car's been sitting awhile. So today we bled the brakes and clutch and replaced the power steering fluid. All those fluids were nasty. Once it moving on it's own power we'll replace the gearbox and diff oil.

Still lots of small things after that.

 

Thanks. It's been quite a journey since we pulled the old engine last year. My buddy is getting pretty excited.

 

Our check lists seem to get longer every spring. lol

 

Mornin stockers! Just swapped my studded snow tires for the summer wheels so I hopefully get another season from the snows. Remember to swap out that winter air for summer air too!
