Adam....the rig seems to like the Maxlife synthetic 10w30. The 1GR is notoriously ticky, as you know. Minus the injector and SSV ticking, the valvetrain seems quieter.

 

Not too bad. Currently waiting for a potential corolla buyer. They've got 30 minutes before I leave, they're already 10 minutes late. So it's definitely not looking good.

On the flip side, got our first preapproval back, the interest rate is a bit higher than we'd like so we'll probably keep shopping around. At least this gets us in the door to start do showings and making offers.

Had to get creative in my parking for the truck since I brought two vehicles to my better half's house in preparation to sell the car. Gotta make it to work tomorrow somehow! Pictures to come of that.

Today, I got a little bored. Had to get the die grinder out for all the corrosion, but I got the wheels on the beater painted...









Not a look for everybody, but it's growing on me. They're far from "perfect" but the wheels were pretty trashed to begin with...

I've been thinking about refinancing, if I can get one with low enough closing costs. New American funding is the place I've been looking at. Don't forget that origination fees are negotiable.

 

Finally did the ac drain extension and added my full coverage splash guards, but mostly just relaxing today, head back to work Friday.
