Back to my own work tomorrow. Former coworker is renovating her bathroom. Entire floor was torn up for new plumbing (bath is on 2nd floor). I'm installing new subfloor and adding some framing for a new shower. I'll remove the original bead board (from early 1900's) & trim from where the new shower will be going and will re-use it on the non shower side of the new wall. I've not seen what the plumber did, so that'll be a surprise tomorrow morning.

Then painting before new floor, shower, vanity, toilet, etc. get installed.

Bonus - it's 1/2 mile from my house.

If you're good at bathroom work, I might have some work for you if we get this house! They removed a large tub and put in a double shower, along with changing the vanity. There's some questionable drywall repairs done, and exposed grout/cement around the top of the shower with gaps where it doesn't fully reach the Sheetrock. We asked the sellers realtor about it, and they said "oh they were just going to finish the trim"

edit: we are definitely having an inspection done, there's also a water spot on the ceiling of the first floor under the sink area in the second floor.

Another benefit. This bath is the only one in the house. The owner is staying with a friend. In the rare event I feel the need to drop some kids off in the pool, I'm close to my home throne.
