Are you shimming the housing or the pulley?
Since you said shims I assume the housing..

Yes the housing! moving the procharger 1/2" toward the front of the boat. Here is a view from the rear of the boat and the pulleys involved. Once we move the procharger forward, we can mount the offset pulley and get a better alignment. The pulley has enough shank that we may have to mill it a few thousands, or trim the shims. We plan on mounting the unit with 2 shims and see where we are.

Good morning Jeff. Great work on the boat. Looks like she's going to have a little extra kick via a "metal snail" when all is said and and done.

Good morning Mark. Taking the day off?

I have some clean up and mending of some flowers after a very strong storm blew through last evening. I suspect I'll be reattaching a shutter that blew off on my neighbor's house. Just wish it were on the 1st floor and not the 2nd

    Morning Bill!

Yes, off today. I wrapped up things yesterday on that bathroom job. That portable AC was a godsend.

One more hot/humid day for us today.

    Be safe on the ladder.

Not sure if the lawn will dry enough before the storms come in.

    Daylights burning, get out there!

Ive been playing chicken police this morning. One of the neighbor’s chickens decided to come over and terrorize my girls so I frisbeed a piece of plywood at its head, missed. Wouldnt mind them being in the yard but when they start chasing mine around in their own territory it’s ON.

I dont think blasting off a .243 at 930 in the morning would go over well with the tourists down at the lake camps
I dont wanna kill the chicken, just scare it off. Chicken lives matter.
