Friend and I were recently talking about that show (and some others) and were thinking they wouldn't even be allowed to air in this time/period.

I was young when that show aired. Didn't really appreciate how good it was until I was an adult

Redd Foxx was a genius. I sometimes come across his old material on some of the comedy channels on SiriusXM

Speaking of shows that wouldn't fly today. Can you imagine the 1st 2 seasons of In Living Color in today's society? That show left no stone unturned.

All in the Family was a brilliant show. You either got it or you didn't. For those that did....they understood that it was Archie who was the idiot. They were making fun of him. Not promoting his closed minded bigotry

Gotta run. Need to wrench on a neighbor's lawn mower. Sat for 2 years and won't start.....imagine that.

This will either be an easy fix or a cluster of ethanol rotted goodness. o_O

Oh, I would call him a meathead anyway. :D

Thankfully he ran the gas out of it 2 years ago. I just pulled the plug and put a few drops of fuel directly into the cylinder. Fired on the 2nd pull. Guess the carb was just so dry it wasn't able to start and draw fuel in.

Went ahead and changed the oil, clean the air filter, sharpened the blade, cleaned and gapped the plug and put a bit of carb cleaner in the tank for him. He's happy. Plus he gets to tell his wife he fixed it. :D

Wish they were all that easy.

200K miles, just did front/rear diff and transfer case fluid change and found a hole in my muffler... Not too bad but will need replaced soon.

Any suggestions on replacement muffler? Something quiet.

Reminds me... time to change oil & plug in the snowblower before I put away for the season.

My lawn tractor, mower and snowblower all call for 5W-30. I buy the NAPA synthetic when on sale and use that.

My mower and pressure washer both call for 5/30 synthetic as well. But my mower as a ton of hours on it and started using oil a couple of years ago. It runs great...so I wasn’t about to ditch it. I switched to 10/40 conventional and 4 ounces of Engine Restore with excellent results with 2 oil changes a year (spring and fall). Oil consumption went way down.

I serviced the pressure washer late last fall. So it's already to go this spring.
