The phishing these days is getting ridiculous. I try to block as many numbers as I can. But it doesn't seem to help much

Sounds like they're "pencil whipping" that startup safety check sheet. OSHA would be non to pleased, I'm sure

    Well....

I was helping (paying job) a neighbor with a job (he was on his own job painting) on one of his rental properties. Repairing/replacing some pieces on a porch. He brought over the materials yesterday afternoon. I show up at 8:00 and set all my tools up, etc. (15 minute drive about 1/2 hour set up). It's an urban area with many other multi-family homes & apartments....all old as it's in a historic district of Portland. So I go to plug in my extension cord and the only plug is a non-grounded 2 prong (FACK!). He said there was power, but didn't mention that. Then I start looking at what needs to be replaced and the materials I have. A bunch is wrong. By now it's nearly 9:00. No way was I going to leave all my tools and go buy a plug adapter or go get new materials. I figure I'd lose a couple more hours breaking down and setting up again (including loading and unloading my truck). Then add in getting the correct materials...there's another hour. So I bailed as all that wasn't worth just a couple hours of work. I told him what I need for materials and I'll do the work Thu & Fri of next week. I'm still charging him 1/2 day for wasting my time.

    :annoyed:

Damn. That's a hard way to make a living....and frustrating as hell. :(

Whenever I do work at my aunt's house I always throw a 3 to 2 prong adapter in my tool box. That old house is nothing but 2 prongers

He's a bit disorganized like that. On previous jobs where we've worked together, he's had to make repeated runs to HD, home, hardware store, etc. At least I got a 1/2 day pay. If I could have left my tools without worry of theft, I would have. I was all setup in the small front yard/grass area just off the street.

    Actually today not happening.
I even have to wait to inspect the picture window frame that pulls up every 3 years.
So I just cut out the bad section and use rock hard putty to remake the section and paint.
Better than a new window and from the ground it look ok for me..

Falken RT 660's have been ordered. This truck should stick to the road like glue!

    Road isn’t the issue.
    It’s the track

This is true. Brunswick is all concrete so it eats tires for lunch.
