Where’s ‘down’ at? Got a new comfort seat coming for sensitive/boney heiney on Monday for the MT09 so I may actually be able to go more than 70 miles at a whack now.

They don’t make seats for comfort anymore. All about the style.
    “SBH” is on the rise..

In Yamaha's defense I bought a naked sport bike rather than a touring bike because it was one of the only ones I could touch the ground on. I'm basically turning a street bike into a touring bike. Windscreen, hand guards, new seat, tail bag coming, blah blah. The new seat is a little flatter than stock and doesn't have the sharp angles on it so hopefully it helps with the pokey-points.

You have to do what you have to do. Make it your own...

Touching the ground is kind of important..

Seen many a rider do the butt slide stop to put a foot down.

    You will figure it out..

My 1st Tacoma was a base regular cab, 2wd, 4 cylinder, 5 speed....actually my 1st 2 Tacos were....hence the screen name. Never bothered to change the name when I got my current rig.

I'm well versed in the bum-scooch, I raced at NHIS for a few years and owned an unlowered '08 Duc Hypermotard 1100.. but I've also had two incidents where I was on the crest of a hill and wasn't able to touch the ground until I was past the 'no-return' tipping point and another where I had sand under my foot and out it came. I refuse to lower any bikes, it makes them handle like garbage (have tried it). No love for the short peeps, I tell ya! But I digress, the MT is perfectly fine for what I need.

    How's everyone's Saturday morning? :dancingbacon:

I love the seats in my TRD. They fit just right. I'm not a big guy....but at a tick over 6' and 205 lbs I ain’t tiny either. Very supportive.
