I couldn't imagine what it was like to go through something like that in 1918 !!
    The absolute horror!!

In the back of my mind l can't help but wonder if this could get that bad.

Some would argue it already is that bad, it'll be interesting to see how this progresses as a lot of Americans are getting pretty touchy about being kept inside

Hope nobody in Maine wanted to ride their motorcycles in the next month.... enjoy your 6 months in jail for getting outside and not going stir crazy.

I don't understand that just as much as I don't understand the logic behind "you go outside for anything other than work or food, you go to jail for 6 months or pay us 1k." I can't believe what has been said by Maine's governor.... at least my stock Tacoma will just keep on keepin on!

So in other words another normal work day for me.

I posted this in another thread

    ***************************************

The only thing I could ask of everyone is this.

Auto shops are on the front lines. We are trying to work in a very unsanitary situation.

Masks and gloves may still not be enough.

    Please

    Please

    Please

    CLEAN OUT YOUR CAR.
    WIPE DOWN THE INTERIOR.
    USE GOOD CLEANING PRODUCTS.
USE ANTI BACTERIAL WIPES ON STEERING WHEEL ,DOOR HANDLES, SHIFTERS.
IF YOUR SICK, STAY THE F*** HOME.
Remind your friends if you know they are going in for work.
    I cannot practice social distancing.
I do what I can but I am literally coming into your home.
I’m trying to be as respectful as I can be and do my part to try and keep
us safe. YOU NEED TO DO YOUR PART ALSO.

    ************************************

People have a lot of time on their hands right now..
    Get the vacuum out
Make the vehicle showroom. Makes it so much easier to wipe down.

    I can..

    I’m essential..

As long as I’m pointed to work or home

    On Edit..

I guess the boat stays under the cover.
No sense in pulling it out now.

I think part of it is an Internet thing. People need TP....I get that. But some people started panic buying and with the proliferation of social media it caught on fire very quickly.

I need to redo all the horizontal surfaces of my deck. I think I'm going composite this time. Stuff is expensive though!

    If you do...use a hidden/blind fastening system.

Already price the Trex fasteners. Ain't cheap either. Gonna pick up a box of composite decking screws with the reverse threads to use on the end boards and stairs.

We'll see how the end product turns out. :D

Trex even sell kits that come with a spacer to evenly space the composite screws then tiny plugs to completely hide the countersunk hole. That might be a little overkill for me. o_O
