For grins and giggles I just price checked all the new clutch components through my local dealership and through Autozone. This is with the TOB, pressure plate, clutch, alignment tool, and pilot bearing.

dealership: $650
Autozone: $140
LCE: $350
edit: added LCE pro clutch kit (cheapest option through them)

Are you going with an oem one before your twin disc?

 

I'm going to have to for a little while at least. I can barely shift gears currently, and it looks like this will continue to be my daily for another month at least. So I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a stock clutch to get me through this period before I tear it all apart for the turbo build, which is when I'll get the dual mass 500 tq capable clutch from Southbend.

 

For what it's worth, i did something similar before upgrading and throwing on the sc. I ran an $85 LUK clutch off of rockauto for a few months and never had any issues. I do remember swapping the crappy LUK TOB & pilot bearing out for OEM units though when i installed it. Might go that route to save yourself some money since you're gonna throw a different one in it anyways

 

I'll probably get the Autozone clutch kit and get the oem TOB and Pilot bearing since I'm going to try and do it all this weekend. That's good to know though, thank you!

Odd - No TPMS sensor light on in dash this am. Tires were only down 2 psi after 2 days. Hmmmmmm.

 

Still need it checked

 

Oh yes....Friday. Costing me $$ having to bring it back in for a couple hours.
