    My WiFi at the house died apparently? So I can't upload photos yet. But I'm on final reassembly now. Final diagnoses was that the truck had a LUK clutch in it and the springs broke. Hence the horrible noise. And the pieces of spring got stuck between the fingers of the pressure plate and the clutch preventing it from fully disengaging. Also the TOB looked to be original to the truck and had also failed, made bad grinding noises when rotated. New ones in and torqued to spec!

    I ended up not going down to race today. 24 hours awake yesterday between work and fixing the truck was too much. I woke up to my alarm and pretty quickly realized I couldn't safely drive an hour and a half down to the event, stand outside all day, and drive back. So instead I'm just cleaning up the mess I made of the garage and about to go test drive the new clutch.

    After a few test drives the new clutch feels pretty good. A bit more grabby unsurprisingly. @Tacoma Mike I've looked around but haven't found anything on how to do the clutch adjustment. Any advice?

    It’s hydraulic.
    You can adjust some free play in the pedal but it’s not like mechanical rod system.

    The free play is what I was concerned about. I've seen people talk about the TOB being pushed against the clutch fingers and that being a problem.
