    @Tacoma Mike this chirping throwout bearing is driving me nuts... any ideas? I've tried adjusting the clutch pedal rod in and out with no luck.

    Probably a worn ft t/b snout. Did you put some grease on the snout ?

    I did indeed, I didn't notice any abnormal wear when I was in there, and the old clutch/throwout bearing didn't have the chirp. Granted, the old throwout bearing was toast, but no noise.

    If you grease the snout, the fork pivot, throw out bearing tabs you usually don’t have a problem

    You might have to get it up in the air and get it running and pull the clutch boot back and look inside the bell housing and see what’s going on it’s probably shaking like crazy

    Correct you were. I'm going to try and pick up a truck in the next couple weeks, so hopefully it lasts that long. I don't have the motivation to pull the trans back out while trying to move into the new house.
