So our manager had contact with someone who just tested positive for covid and thought it was a good idea to come into the office unmasked and tell my coworker and I after the fact.. guess who has to fucking quarantine now!

On a positive note, I just paid my house off :woot:

Sorry to hear about the forced time off. Congrats on the financial burden removal though!

Say, if you're not doing anything but staying home for a few days, want to do a bearing slap on my rods? Just ordered the bearings today.

@Tacoma Mike did you ever put rod bearings in a 2tr? I'm trying to figure out if I can drop the pan with the engine in the truck.

    Not in the truck.
    only way is to try.
Free the pan, disconnect the mounts and use the chain fall.
At some point you will get access to them.
    One way or another… lol
    As a guess
Exhaust and rad stuff would have to be worked at..
Go slow.. check and double check.

People just don't care. We live in a "me #1" society. The older I get the less tolerant I become for non genuine people. Having a handful of good people around you trumps being surrounded by numerous thoughtless assholes who call themselves your friends

Any truck can be a race truck if you try hard enough. I can throw mine around the corners of the mountain like nobody's business. You'll have some dumbass fly up on my ass on the straits, but I lose them every time on the twisties. Amateurs. :D

Also might explain the rapid tire wear at only 11K miles
