Similar situation going on with my FIL at the moment. Shop has had his boat for almost a year, want to charge him lot rental by the day while they've been "catching up" and waiting on parts. Original estimate was March 1st completion and it's still not done. Putting the total cost almost 15% over original contract. Stalemate at the moment.

If a business can't figure it out and adapt they shouldn't be a business.

 

I worked for a small two guy motorcycle shop a couple years ago, and the owner couldn't fathom running a business like that.

More packing and moving today since my bearings didn't show up. Also going to get paint samples and figure out where what colors are going.
