    Folks :hattip:

Had to be somewhat of an asshole at the convenience store yesterday before work. Went past a guy going in with the hood open and getting jumper cables out. I knew what was gonna happen. Got my energy drink and came out, of course he asked if I could give him a jump. I had to politely decline "I don't even know if I'm supposed to jump it with a modern vehicle like I got, sorry" sounds kinda lame, but there's so much more electronic crap and "Smart" charging systems. I'm sure karma might bite me on the ass, but I think I'm gonna order a couple of those lithium jump packs to keep in the vehicles from now on...

    Good idea.
Ruin one vehicle instead of two..

Just jumped (heh) on the ol' jungle website and ordered one. Just gonna keep it in the truck incase of emergency's. I'll order another one next week for the Camry and probably get another one for grandmother for her Jeep.

Just throw it on the charger once a month to peak it up.

I'm nervous about it too. But only because I'm always afraid the other person is going to screw something up.

I told my daughter to decline anyone asking for one

I'm glad I don't have that worry. I've helped jumpstart our loaders with my taco... and many many other people.

edit: it's worth noting that I usually hook up both vehicles myself. Especially if the receiving party doesn't seem confident.

We have one Anker from '16 I think. Works well with 4 and 6 cylinders. Never had to do a V8. I finally got one of the Type-S packs from Costco for my rig this year. At $60 it was hard to pass up.

This one is made by Gooloo. We had them in the company trucks at my old job. Seemed to do well.

Current phone is old and will soon be obsolete. Getting a new one today. I fookin' dread it. Rather chew my own balls off.

If you don't have one picked out already Samsung always has some good "mid-range" options. They're basically brand new phones with the hardware from the previous year's high end models.

    S20 is 2020 S21 is 2021, the procover is 2020 I think and A series is '21

They're giving me Galaxy A32. It's free. That's good enough for me
