I have my fun with it, it's ridiculously stupid, but I enjoy it. It was a thing of my teenage years, but I had to wait till I was 31 to be able to afford to keep one on the road

 

Welp, now it looks like the fun really begins!

Speaking of joining them. Just dragged my sh!tbox home today as well. Tundra hauled it no problem, the integrated brake controller was really nice.

 

I can PM you my address, just leave it on there and bring it here. I got a two car garage

 

And I have three spaces. Had to swap the Tacoma to the other garage actually, which was the perfect opportunity for garage burnouts...

 

I jest; I think another project would ruin me. I'm already wondering WTF I'm doing on the one I got now doing the rust repair.

I estimate another $1500 going in this thing before it's done in the spring

 

Wow, that's the same estimate as mine. Brakes, compressor bypass kit, windshield, tires, battery, assorted fluids

The crap car or the tundra? The car is an 04? Sentra spec v... the one I swapped the motor in and haven't touched since. As far as the brake controller, I'm used to having to splice in some janky one that was left laying in a corner for years. Nice change of pace for me.

The controller is funky and had some complaints about it.

 

Huh, odd. I set the gain before I left the driveway, tested the manual control and it all worked great. I've heard some people say their trailer brakes dragged when using the factory controller, but so far this is the only trailer I've hauled with electric brakes on this truck. Time will tell!

 

No deer, a few birds. Temps in low 50's. Still a great trip with the old man.

Never had an issue with mine either. Tractor, v-nose, and camper all towed without issue.
