Well so much for not working this week. Just snagged an easy gig. There's some major retail construction going on about a mile from my house. There's a section that needs to be illuminated at night. Power is not hooked up yet, so the electrician fires up a generator each afternoon so it runs all night. He just lets it run out of gas in the morning. He wants to take Wed-Sun off and he lives over an hour away. He asked if I could gas it up and start it each afternoon (except Thursday). I gave a stupid quote and he didn't blink an eye. So it'll be about an hours total work Wed, Fri-Sun.

Coworker couldn't figure out why the stick welder was spattering and sticking every time he tried to strike an arc. Helps if you don't put it on the lift tig setting... quick test pass to make sure it works.

 

And the last thing from me for the morning. One big load of logs. Not saying that he's heavy... but weight watchers wants to call.

 

Does that truck really have 3 packs on it? They only have 2 around here, can only weigh 80K combined.

 

Pretty sure we're allowed 120 combined. Although I think he may have been a bit generous on that "120" considering he was over the stakes on all three. (Also not legal...)

 

Save the big load for the early morning haul before "the man" is out, that's what my cousin does

 

Yep, listening to the truck when he was pulling in, I'd be curious to sample his tanks as well.

Probably a dumb question.
Just curious if anyone adds a few items such as bed rack, RTT, roof rack, other off-road accessories, ect and still maintains stock suspension and tires? Basically just adding a bunch of items to a stock truck.
