Yea no, I'm pressing the easy button on this one

Plan would be to eventually build a 2 car in the back of the lot, but that takes money, and more money...

That's my eventual plan for the Quonset hut on my property too. Might be iffy though with the proximity to wet land

Rant time.... yesterday was checking my e mail for a union related matter about two hours after my shift when I get a message from a professor that their office is hot. Replied to them again on my time that I was off and would check first thing in the AM. Indeed office was overheating, bad transducer, normally not a difficult job. But wouldn't you think they would have moved the piles of books and stacks of papers away from the front of the unit? I understand finals are coming up, but they knew that I was coming. Wish I could post a pic but no I can't. Some days I like being uneducated.

Mike, after I beg, borrow, and steal to get the closing cost, I'm gonna be tapped out. Luckily my employer has an excellent 401K plan that I've built money up quick. Not the best idea, but I basically loan myself that money and pay myself back... However if this actually happens, all said and done it will be mine. No more rent; anything I put into it will be mine. Went by on the way home to get some quick measurements to do the carport into a garage. Sure am glad lumber went down, well except for 4x8 cement siding o_O

    I figured as much.
I was just yanking your chain.
It is a big step and when it’s done and you know that payment is actually going to something
That’s going to be YOURS, it’s a great feeling. I am happy for you and wish you all the best.

Moving money from one investment to another is not a bad thing. You are young Adam and can recoup fees or taxes over the course of your work life as 401k continues to grow. Go for it Brother!

@Delta09 Adam after closing be sure and apply for you Pa Homestead tax exemption. Will save you property tax monies and you are going to need it if in Tuscarora district. You have until March 1, 2022.

Yup, one of the many things to do after closing. Surprisingly taxes aren't too terrible on this property; guess because it isn't right in the borough.

Well, come to PA! You can get a job where I work at and play with the 480V welders. :D But mostly we'd probably get in trouble
